The Alpe di Siusi is a beautiful, versatile and well-developed ski area at an altitude of 1680 to 2400 metres, which offers just about everything a vacationer's heart could desire in winter. Well-prepared ski slopes and cross-country ski runs, as well as wide winter hiking trails wind across the white, glistening and varied snowy landscape of the Dolomites. Some ski lifts also prepare great, entertaining toboggan runs. The terrain is furthermore ideally suited for snowshoe hikes and ski tours.

Ski & Snowboard

Get out of the hotel, put on your skis or snowboard and head for the slopes of the Dolomiti Superski area in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Dolomiti Superski means 16 ski areas, 1.200 km of slopes, 450 lifts and a unique skiing experience. The Alpe di Siusi is also part of this ski carousel and with more than 20 modern ski lifts as well as perfectly groomed slopes and connections, it is a very interesting destination. The total of 62 kilometres of ski slopes of all difficulty levels offer incomparable skiing fun for young and old, for beginners and experienced skiers.
In hotel's proximity there are two chair lifts that take you directly to the ski resort Alpe di Siusi and a stop of the ski bus "Monte Pana-trans", which takes you in 15 minutes to the large ski area of Val Gardena, to the Sellaronda and to the extensive Dolomiti Superski area.

For cross-country skiers, the Alpe di Siusi is a paradise on earth: 80 km of trails lead you through the entire plateau and also offer a breathtaking sight of the impressive spectacle of the Dolomites. Those who prefer snowshoe hiking can hire the necessary equipment directly at the hotel and leave for a hiking adventure. Delight yourself with a walk through the snow-covered meadows, the winter woods and idyllic mountain huts, and maybe if you are lucky you will meet a small group of deer in search of food.

Winter hiking & sledding

Let yourself be carried by the healthy and relaxing movements of a walk through the winter wonderland of the Dolomites while clearing your mind of unnecessary thoughts. Even fans of sledging will be satisfied with the Alpe di Siusi, where you will find 10 sledge slopes that are ready for strong emotions, adrenaline and fun for the whole family. Directly in front of the hotel you´ll find the 3 km long toboggan run “Zallinger”.
After a relaxing walk or a sledge ride you can relax on a deck chair or sit outside an alpine hut, while you enjoy the warm rays of the sun. All this frees you from restlessness and stress and creates serenity, inner peace and positive emotions. Just like in paradise!

Horse-drawn sleigh ride

The activities proposed at the Alpe di Siusi are not just limited to sport: even the tranquillity and enjoyment are critical. You’ll be comfortably towed by horses through the magical surroundings of the Dolomites, breathing in the pure mountain air and freeing your mind from unnecessary thoughts.
