Saunas
& relax

After a day of hiking or skiing on the Alpe di Siusi, the highest pasture in Europe, a relaxing sauna cycle is exactly what you need.

Inviting sauna area of Hotel Saltria at the foot of the Sassopiatto

Sauna lovers will be satisfied with the 4-star Hotel Saltria ideal for hikers and skiers, as it offers a spacious sauna area with Finnish sauna, bio sauna, salt-bath cave, a Turkish steam bath and a panoramic outdoor sauna.
The beneficial effect of the steam bath has already been recognized in East Asia during the Stone Age. From here, the ritual was spread through the Bering Strait to the Americas. In Europe, however, the sauna arrived from the west, through the tribes of Minor Asia.
Take a sauna and do something salutary for your body. After a tiring sauna session you can unwind in our two panoramic relaxation rooms or on the hotel's private lawn.

Finnish bio sauna

At a hot but dry temperature of 70 °C, the Finnish sauna is the perfect place to sweat and boost your circulation.

Turkish steam bath

At a pleasant temperature of 40-50°C, you can relax and let the moist, aromatic air act on your whole body.

Infrared cabin

The infrared rays, with mild temperatures between 30-60°C, warm you up from the inside and the cabin made of chopped stone pine provides a pleasant woody scent.

Saltwater bath

The soothing brine bath with sea salt has a healing effect on skin problems such as neurodermatitis or rheumatism and also has a positive effect on your respiratory tract.

Panoramic outdoor sauna & outdoor area

You will find our second Finnish sauna in the outdoor area. Built from real Swiss pine and old wood, it impresses especially with its panoramic window with direct view of the Sassolungo and Sassopiatto. After your sauna session, you can take a seat on our "adults only" sunbathing lawn or take a refreshing shower under the open sky. In summer, you can enjoy the clear mountain air and the warming sunrays on the many seating and lounging options directly next to the pond.

Panoramic relaxation room

The largest of our relaxation rooms attracts with its bright, warm atmosphere created by the light from the large glass front. To bring the calming effect of nature even more inside, our furniture is made of natural wood and the ceiling is covered with real moss. On the comfortable and spacious loungers you can enjoy the view of the Sassolungo and Sassopiatto in a cosy warm environment even in the cold months. Our chill-out zone is also the perfect place for people who love to read, as each lounger has a reading lamp and plenty of storage space.

Hay beds relaxation room

This relaxation room provides a special hut flair. Unwind in our hay beds and enjoy the intense scent of the hay, the quiet music and the dimmed light. The small separate area without direct view from the outside provides a lot of privacy and even more peace and relaxation.

Tilting loungers relaxation room

After a sweaty sauna session, you can lie down in this relaxation room and cool off on the breathable tilting loungers. The light-flooded room offers a beautiful view of our outdoor area and the quiet music helps to relax your body and mind.

Sauna gallery

From our sauna area, you can walk through the gallery directly to the outdoor panoramic sauna and the pond. The floor-heated corridor creates a very special atmosphere with its changing coloured light and the traditional wooden masks on the wall.
